All Norpe products are supplied with 12 months parts only warranty. Labour warranty for the same period can be taken as an optional extra - £POA, which needs to be taken out at the time of purchase. 12 months parts warranty - The warranty is not transferable.
- Engineers service documentation must be provided when submitting a warranty claim.
- Use of the equipment other than for its design purpose will invalidate the warranty.
- The warranty is subject to the fitment of Norpe approved parts.
- Parts warranty does not include items considered as “consumables” such as light tubes, bulbs, manual nightblinds
Further warranty conditions are detailed in our standard terms and conditions document. A copy of this is available on request. Optional 12 months labour warranty If 12 months labour warranty is taken out at the time of purchase, Norpe’s refrigeration service operates on a Monday to Friday basis (EXCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS) between the hours of 08.30hrs & 17.00hrs, where possible the initial call will be attended by one of our qualified engineers within 24hrs or less dependant on the area.
In the unlikely event of requiring a service call to your Norpe product, please complete the following checklist before calling the Norpe Service Department. Fault Checklist - Check that there is power to the cabinet e.g lights/fans working. Check that fuses & plug sockets are working
- Check that the condenser is clean (see “User Guide” supplied with the cabinet). Condensers must be cleaned regularly as per the “User Guides)
- Ensure the cabinet is sited correctly. Direct sunlight or cold air from air-conditioning units can affect the performance of open fronted cabinets
- Make sure the thermostat is set at the correct level. Turning the thermostat to a colder position when the appliance is already iced up could make the problem worse! Please defrost the appliance and then adjust the thermostat.
The above faults are not covered by warranty as there is no machine fault, please note that Norpe WILL charge for an engineers time to carry out the above tasks which should be part of your “planned maintenance” programme. Placing a Service Call If you have been unable to solve the problem by following the fault checklist, please contact the Norpe Service department with the following information: - Product Serial number or delivery note number
- Site address including postcode
